Dia: loses place on blue chip IBEX index; shares dive
(CercleFinance.com) - Spanish retailer Dia has lost its spot on Madrid's blue chip stock index, the IBEX 35, stock exchange operator BME said on Monday.
The move comes as the group's market capitalisation has melted by 90% over the past year. Its shares are currently diving 21% today.
Dia will be replaced by Spanish pulp, paper and energy group Ence, with changes to be applied as from 24 December 2018, BME said.
