Amadeus: set to acquire Travelclick
(CercleFinance.com) - The Amadeus group announced on Friday evening that it is about to acquire online hotel booking platform TravelClick for 1.
52 billion dollars.
TravelClick was previously owned by the Thomas Bravo investment fund. The platform's services are used by around 53,000 hotels (including major chains, such as Hilton or Marriott) in 176 countries.
Amadeus says that this acquisition, which will be paid for by debt, will be immediately accretive. The group hopes to finalise it by the end of 2018.
