Cellnex Telecom: HQ moved to Madrid.
(CercleFinance.com) - After Banco Sabadell, CaixaBank, Gas Natural and Abertis, Cellnex Telecom, the operator of telecom towers, has decided to move its headquarters out of Catalonia after uncertainties created by the independence referendum.
Cellnex, whose share is listed on Madrid's IBEX 35, believes that current uncertainties in Catalonia “could continue in the near and medium term”. In this situation, and for as long as this situation persists, Cellnex has decided to move its headquarters from Barcelona to Madrid.
The group has added that it has taken this decision in order to be able to continue to operate normally.
