Novo Nordisk: buys back 1.2 million shares in one week
(CercleFinance.com) - Novo Nordisk has repurchased 420 million Danish kronor (about 56 million euros) worth of its own shares over the past week, the Danish drugmaker reported on Monday.
The Copenhagen-based firm bought over 1.2 million at average prices of between 336.63 Danish kronor and 340.60 Danish kronor, it said.
As a reminder, Novo has started a share repurchase programme of up to 17 billion Danish kronor, to be executed during a 12-month period beginning 2 February 2017.
The company plans to buy back B shares amounting to up to 4.8 billion Danish kronor over the period between 1 November 2017 to 30 January 2018.
