Novo Nordisk: shakes up management, China head promoted.
(CercleFinance.com) - Novo Nordisk, the world's biggest insulin producer, announced on Tuesday changes to its management team, including the appointment of Camilla Sylvest as executive vice president in charge of the firm's commercial strategy and corporate affairs.
In her new role, Camilla Sylvest - who was previously in charge of Novo Nordisk's operations in China - will be responsible for the company's corporate functions within marketing, market access, strategy, communication, stakeholder relations and sustainability.
Doug Langa, currently senior vice president and head of North America operations and president of Novo Nordisk Inc, has been promoted to executive vice president. His overall responsibilities remain unchanged.
