Zealand Pharma: names new head of business development
(CercleFinance.com) - Zealand Pharma on Monday appointed Marino Garcia to lead its corporate and business development, with the Danish biotech company pushing to develop its pipeline.
Garcia joins from Synergy Pharmaceuticals, a biopharmaceutical company that is specialised in gastrointestinal diseases, where "he was instrumental in all business development activities," the group said.
Earlier in his career, Zealand said that Garcia served in various US and international leadership roles at Eli Lilly, Schering Plough and Pfizer.
