Zalando: net loss reaches E61.3m in Q1
(CercleFinance.com) - Zalando has reported sales of 2.
2 billion euros for Q1 2022, down 1.5% y-o-y.
Adjusted EBIT came in at -51.8m, a far cry from the 93.3m euro profit in Q1 2021.
As a result, Zalando recorded a net loss of 61.3 million euros, compared with a profit of 34.5 million euros a year ago.
For FY 2022, Zalando expects adjusted EBIT to be towards the bottom of a range of 430 to 510 million euros.
It says that it is continuing to invest throughout the cycle to generate long-term value, while expanding its logistics network and advancing its platform to better serve customers and partners, enable sustainable future growth and prepare for long-term success.
