1 share is up 2.9% in Frankfurt today, standing out on the DAX, after the German media group announced FY 2017 adjusted earnings growth of 3% at 550 million euros.
Adjusted EBITDA increased by 3% to 1,050 million euros on revenues that rose by 7% to 4,078 million euros, with the group's diversification strategy reducing the share of television advertising revenue to 47% of total revenues, against 51% the year before.
The executive board will propose a dividend of 1.93 euro per share for 2017, three cents higher than a year ago. For 2018, it expects further growth in sales, with an adjusted EBITDA margin in the mid-20% range.
