1, and Italy and Spain's Mediaset will create a video advertising business joint venture, the three companies said on Friday.
The European broadcasters said they plan to establish in equal shares the European Broadcaster Exchange (EBX) to address the demand for advertisers' video campaigns.
At the beginning, the focus will be on programmatic video campaigns, which involves the automated and data-based management of digital advertising purchases and sales.
The joint venture will also mark the start of a strategic collaboration to drive forward the technological development of online advertising.
The company will be headquartered in London, the leading location for media agencies in Europe.
Last January, TF1, ProSiebenSat.1, and Mediaset already jointly invested in a content venture called "Studio 71".
