Osram: German sites to accommodate high-tech applications.
(CercleFinance.com) - Osram has chosen two German sites to establish its state-of-the-art technology centers, the German lighting company said on Wednesday.
The Munich-based group said Berlin is set to become its global centre for software and autonomous driving over the coming years, with the plant to be transformed into a high-technology center.
The Schwabmünchen site, where the company used to produce pre-material for light bulbs, will become a facility for LED prematerials, which are produced in a cleanroom.
