K+S: towards negotiations over a German plant.
(CercleFinance.com) - German fertilizer producer K+S has agreed to commence negotiations with the Federation for Environment and Nature Conservation in Germany (BUND) soon, so as to end a legal dispute over a permit on a German plant.
K+S has said that such a deal would provide legal certainty for the permit - which concerns the injection of saline waste water from the Werra plant into the dolomite layer - which is valid until the end of 2021, while reducing the plant's environmental impact, which is based in central Germany.
