E.ON: chairman reappointed
(CercleFinance.com) - At its meeting on Wednesday, the E.
ON's supervisory board extended the contract of chairman Leonhard Birnbaum for another five years - until 30 June 2028. Birnbaum has been a member of the group's management body since 2013 and has been E.ON's CEO since April 2021.
The group said that Leonhard Birnbaum is the right man to meet both short-term challenges and take advantage of the opportunities that will arise for E.ON as a sustainable platform for the energy transition in Europe in the years to come.
It adds that he is leading E.ON through the current energy crisis with a steady hand and enjoys great trust and high esteem from teams, suppliers and customers, alike.
