E.ON: reduces FY targets

(CercleFinance.com) - E.
ON has announced that it is reducing its FY 2020 estimates, now anticipating adjusted net income of 1.5-1.7 billion euros, vs. 1.7-1.9 billion euros previously, with adjusted operating profit of 3.6-3.8 billion euros, vs. 3.9-4.1 billion euros previously.

The German energy group explains that these new forecasts take into account "the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic that are already foreseeable today". E.ON nevertheless reaffirms its medium-term targets and its dividend policy.

For the first six months of 2020, E.ON posted an adjusted net profit of 933 million euros, compared to 1.05 billion euros a year earlier, as well as an adjusted operating profit of around 2.2 billion euros, compared to 2.3 billion euros in the first half of 2019.
