E.ON: forms charging station joint venture in Scandinavia

ON and Danish startup Clever said on Tuesday that they have formed a joint venture to build and operate ultra-fast chargers for electric cars along the freeways throughout Scandinavia.
The so-called "Ultra-Fast Charging Venture Scandinavia" project will aim to connect cities in Denmark, Norway and Sweden with a total of 48 ultra-fast charging sites.
The 48 sites are planned to be operational in 2020, with third-party operators having access to the charging stations.
