E.ON: develops new smart home solution with Microsoft

ON has developed a smart home solution in collaboration with US technology giant Microsoft, the energy company said on Tuesday.
The home controller will reduce energy bills and improve homeowners' carbon footprints, E.ON said in a statement.
The first version of the product is set to be marketed at the start of 2019.
E.ON's product is set to enter a market that is expecting strong growth, with 200,000 units scheduled to be delivered within three years, compared to the 40,000 smart home systems that are currently sold in Europe every year.
