ON said on Thursday that it has taken a stake in b.ventus, a startup whose products enable businesses to produce their own wind power.
The German utility group said it has chosen b.ventus as a partner because of its "promising" business idea, which the company plans to ramp up.
b.ventus' centerpiece is a wind turbine that is less than 30 metres high, which can be installed quickly and which does not require a lengthy permit process, E.ON said.
