ON has used an innovative corrosion protection technology for its wind farm foundations in the Baltic Sea, Germany's biggest utility said on Monday.
The company has protected all 60 steel foundations of the Arkona offshore wind park in the German Baltic Sea with a special environmentally-friendly anti-corrosion coating.
The Arkona project - located 35 kilometres north-east of the island of Rügen - is a joint venture between E.ON and Statoil, the Norwegian energy company.
