Metro: Invest Securities raises target price
(CercleFinance.com) - Invest Securities has confirmed its buy rating on the Metro stock, nudging up its its target price for it to 13.
30 euros (12.80 euros).
We believe that the group's recovery profile remains relevant, which indeed starts from a situation that is much worse than that of the average retail operator that has gone through the pandemic with positive or neutral windfall effects... However, we are now seeing their operating conditions return to normal, while Metro can count on a full contribution from the HORECA sector, the broker says.
Barring a resurgence in the Covid crisis, Q1 2021-22 should see a strong rebound in performance which would set the tempo for the entire financial year, given its high weighting in annual figures (over 50% of the total in normal conditions), it adds.
The share is currently up 1.3% at 11.7 euros.
