Bayer: submits new application for Xarelto in Europe
(CercleFinance.com) - Bayer said that it has submitted an application for marketing its Xarelto drug in children with venous thromboembolism in Europe.
The submission is based on results from phase 3 study showing convincing efficacy and safety profile for Xarelto in children with this common complication among hospitalised children.
Bayer said its oral liquid formulation of Xarelto does not require injections and regular monitoring was developed to facilitate pediatric administration.
