Bayer: acquisition of Monsanto finalised on 7 June
(CercleFinance.com) - Bayer has said that it plans to finalise the acquisition of Monsanto on 7 June, after obtaining all required regulatory approvals for this transaction that was first announced in 2016, and which will cost a total of approximately 63 billion dollars.

In addition, Bayer announced the launch of its capital increase with DPS, which is intended to finance the Monsanto acquisition. The amount of the planned exercise reaches six billion euros, which is at the bottom of consensus forecast range, Invest Securities said.
