Bayer: DOJ conditionally approves merger with Monsanto

This decision enables Bayer to have almost all the authorisations that are necessary for the transaction. The group has said that it is waiting for the final approvals required for the merger to be finalised in the near future.
"According to the DOJ's conditional approval, the integration of Monsanto into Bayer can take place as soon as the divestments to BASF have been accomplished," Bayer said, which anticipates this to occur in about two months.
