BASF: Stifel cuts target price
(CercleFinance.com) - Stifel maintains its "hold" rating on BASF shares, reducing its target price for them to 50 euros (from 53 euros), after reducing its adjusted operating profit estimate for 2023 to the low end of the group's target range, at 4.

The broker estimates that Q1 adjusted operating profit could come in slightly above consensus at E1.6bn, and expects a strong result from the Agro, Surface Technologies and Performance Materials businesses.
