BASF: pretty flat after 2020 results
(CercleFinance.com) - The BASF share is pretty flat in Frankfurt on Friday, following the group's publication of an operating profit excluding exceptional items that is down 11% at 7.
4 billion euros for 2020, on sales that are virtually flat at 59.1 billion euros.
With cash flow from continuing operations of 5.4 billion euros, the German chemical giant will propose a stable dividend of 3.30 euros per share for the past fiscal year.
For the year 2021, BASF anticipates operating profit, excluding extraordinary items, of 4.1 to 5 billion euros and sales of 61 to 64 billion euros, based on estimated global economic growth of 4.3%.
