BASF: to invest in German plant amid rising demand
(CercleFinance.com) - BASF has invested "in the double-digit millions of euros" to strengthen production of chelating agents at its Ludwigshafen flagship plant, the German chemicals giant said on Tuesday.
To meet rising demand, the group has decided to further develop its product portfolio, particularly regarding advanced and high-performance applications for the detergent industry.
Chelating agents are used in a wide variety of applications, such as dishwasher tablets.
