BASF: Chemetall to become new brand for surface treatment
(CercleFinance.com) - Chemetall is to become BASF's new global brand for surface treatment technologies, the German chemical giant said on Wednesday.
Chemetall will operate as a brand within the BASF's coatings division, the group said, as it officially introduced the new brand image of Chemetall.
Under the Chemetall brand, BASF will develop products that protect metals from corrosion and facilitate the painting process, it said.
BASF acquired Chemetall just over a year ago.
