Hugo Boss: appoints another Tommy Hilfiger executive

(CercleFinance.com) - German fashion house Hugo Boss on Thursday appointed former Tommy Hilfiger executive Oliver Timm as its chief sales officer, effective from 1 January 2021.

In this position, Timm, 49, will take on global responsibility for the group's own retail operations as well as wholesale and e-commerce businesses.

Last month Hugo Boss announced the appointment of Daniel Grieder, the boss of US stylist Tommy Hilfiger since 2014, as its new CEO.

Following these announcements, current CEO Mark Langer has agreed to take up his consultative role earlier than planned - on 16 July 2020 - and vacate his seat on the management board.

His responsibilities are already being split between the remaining members of the management board, Hugo said.
