adidas: corona impact 'cannot be quantified'
(CercleFinance.com) - Like many of its peers, adidas said on Wednesday that the overall impact of the coronavirus outbreak on its business in 2020 cannot be quantified reliably at this stage.
In the wake of the pandemic, adidas said that it has implemented a number of measures, including temporary closures of office locations and stores, as well as travel restrictions.
These announcements come as the German sportswear company this morning announced that its net income from continuing operations rose by 12% to 1.9 billion euros in 2019, with revenues up 8% at 23.6 billion euros.
Following this strong financial performance in 2019, the company will recommend paying a dividend of 3.85 euros per share at its AGM, which is scheduled for 14 May.
