Munich Re: provides securitized financing for US gas firm
(CercleFinance.com) - Munich Re has closed a 200 million dollars securitized financing with DGOC, a US natural gas company, the German reinsurer said on Friday.
The deal has been completed through Munich Re Reserve Risk Financing, a Munich Re unit that provides alternative debt financing to upstream oil and gas firms in North America.
In addition to funding 100% of the capital transaction, Munich Re has also provided the necessary commodity price hedges, the reinsurer said.
