Allianz: invests 35 million dollars in Indonesian app
(CercleFinance.com) - Allianz X, the digital investment unit of Allianz, has invested 35 million dollars in Go-Jek, an Indonesian ride-hailing app that has quickly turned into a broad-based consumer platform.
Headquartered in Jakarta, Go-Jek has now become an on-demand mobile platform that provides services such as transportation, logistics, e-payments and food delivery, amongst other things.
This is Allianz X's first investment in a Southeast Asian-headquartered company and its fourth transaction in 2018.
