Allianz: record assets under management in real estate
(CercleFinance.com) - Allianz Real Estate, the real estate asset manager of the German insurer Allianz, boasts record assets under management at the end of 2017, which reached 56 billion euros, including 8.
9 billion euros in new investments.
The company highlights strong growth in Asia-Pacific, with prime transactions in India and China, and a refocusing on office properties in Europe with major deals signed in Munich, Milan and Vienna.
Including property sales, the total volume of real estate transactions amounted to 10 billion euros. Allianz Real Estate has set a target of reaching 75 billion euros in assets under management by the end of 2020.
