Lufthansa: shares up after broker comments
(CercleFinance.com) - Lufthansa shares are up on Monday, following positive broker comments on the stock of the German airline group.
Morgan Stanley maintained its "overweight" rating on the share this morning, saying a string of disappointments in 2018 have created a "buying opportunity" for the "best self-help story in European Airlines."
"Portfolio opportunities and reversal of one-off cash flow items should be grounds for positive surprise in 2019," the broker wrote in a note.
However, Morgan Stanley shaved off 1 euro in its target price for the Lufthansa share, which is now 24 euros, against 25 euros.
Lufthansa shares were up 0.6% at 20.7 euros in morning trading, outperforming a 0.3% fall in Frankfurt's DAX index.
