Volkswagen: on track, Oddo BHF says - still a buyer
(CercleFinance.com) - On Monday an analyst at Oddo BHF confirmed a "buy" recommendation on the Volkswagen share, believing that the group's transformation seems to be on the right track.
Even so, the broker notes that ESG (Environment, Social, Governance) issues continue to weigh on the market's perception of the share, which remains side-lined by a number of portfolios because of its shortcomings, particularly on governance issues, which partly stem from a shareholding structure that has little chance of changing in the immediate future, nevertheless believes the broker.
The broker confirms its target price of 184 euros, which represents upside potential of 15%.
