Volkswagen: 'A humbler, nimbler business,' says BarCap.

(CercleFinance.com) - In a report entitled "A humbler, nimbler business," Barclays Capital (BarCap) has become more optimistic on the preference share of the German carmaker Volkswagen.

Maintaining its buy rating ('overweight'), analysts have raised their target price from 174 euros to 195 euros (+12.1%).

BarCap analysts have no doubts, saying that: "VW is one of the key stocks to own in the EU autos sector," they argue, in particular as the shares seems to be "unloved and underowned".

And yet, there are a number of related risks: governance and "Dieselgate" - not to mention the usual cyclical problems, and finally more automation and electrification of cars.
