Volkswagen: historical peak sales in September sales.
(CercleFinance.com) - Volkswagen had a remarkable month of September, with the group reporting this Friday having exceeded 593,700 selling vehicles over the period, up 8% year-on-year.
The German car giant has now sold some 4.49 million cars since 1 January.
Over the past month, sales rose by 7% in China, its main market, to 310,500 vehicles, while sales in North America increased by 18% compared to September 2016 to 53,800 vehicles.
Finally, we may note fairly flat performance in Europe, where 158,500 were sold.
