Volkswagen: popular Microbus will be brought back to life.
(CercleFinance.com) - At the weekend Volkswagen announced that it is planning to bring back to life its iconic Microbus, a van that was hugely popular with those having a hippie lifestyle or surfing culture.
The Microbus - which is called the Bulli in America - will arrive at dealerships after a compact four-door model in 2022.
The van will be based on I.D. Buzz, an all-electric concept car that is 4.9 metres long, and 2 metres heigh an wide.
Volkswagen said that it is mainly targeting markets in North America, Europe and China.
