Volkswagen: Berlin orders 24,000 Audi to be recalled.
(CercleFinance.com) - The German Ministry of Transport has ordered Audi, an upmarket subsidiary of car maker Volkswagen, to recall 24,000 A7 and A8 models that were manufactured between 2009 and 2013.
This is because there are doubts on the actual polluting emissions of these cars.
About half of the vehicles concerned were sold in Germany.
Audi admits the existence of "anomalies" in vehicle emission control systems and has announced that a software update of on-board computers will be conducted in July.
