Wirecard: Invest Securities upgrades to buy
(CercleFinance.com) - The German fintech, Wirecard has lost a quarter of its value in the space of one month.
As a result, the Parisian broker Invest Securities says that enough is enough. It has therefore upgraded its rating on the stock from “neutral” to “buy”.
The broker has however, trimmed its corresponding target price from 165 euros to 163 euros, which still represents upside potential of around 25%.
According to analysts, the share's recent fall represents a derating that should be exploited. The share has lost 33% relative to its peak (of 192.5 euros) reached in early October, while over this period the company has unveiled ambitious targets for 2025, a solid Q3 (...) and an initial 2019 guidance without any major surprises(...), the broker says in its report.
In short, Invest Securities says that the stock's derating seems excessive for a company that should see organic growth accelerate as from 2019.
