Siemens: BEG orders Mireo trains
(CercleFinance.com) - Siemens Mobility has received an order to make 23 four-carriage Mireo trains for the rail operator agilis Eisenbahngesellschaft, a subsidiary of BeNEX.
The trains will be delivered for the Regensburg/Danube Valley rail network in 2024 and are set to be commissioned in December of that year.
The Bavarian State Railways (BEG) issued a tender offer for new trains for parts of its network.
The Mireo trains will serve the new RE 50 line (Nuremberg - Regensburg - Plattling) and the RB 51 line (Neumarkt - Regensburg - Plattling).
