Siemens: Siemens Energy gets first credit rating
(CercleFinance.com) - Siemens Energy has been rated "BBB" by S&P in its first-ever credit rating, Siemens said on Friday, with the unit soon to operate as an independent entity.
The German conglomerate said this "solid" investment grade rating, with a "stable" outlook, particularly praises the division's broad base in the energy sector, its low debt level, and its extensive liquidity.
Siemens Energy's IPO is scheduled for 28 September.
