Siemens: energy unit announces new management team
(CercleFinance.com) - Siemens has detailed the new management team of Siemens Energy on Monday as the German industrial giant aims to spin off its energy unit as a publicly listed company by September 2020.
In addition to his current role as COO of Siemens Energy, Tim Holt will be nominated for the position of labor director of this division, the group said.
Jochen Eickholt, who is currently chairman of Siemens' portfolio companies, has been named as a new member of the Siemens Energy management team.
Before moving to portfolio companies, under which Siemens has bundled several units that operate independently, Jochen Eickholt succeeded in getting Siemens Mobility back on track, it said.
Siemens Energy generates about 27 billion euros in annual revenue and has some 88,000 employees worldwide.
