Siemens: wins EU approval for Indian joint venture
(CercleFinance.com) - Germany's Siemens and India's TUTPL have won regulatory approval from the European Union for their joint venture in India, the European Commission said on Thursday.
The EU's executive has given its blessing for SPC, a newly created company for the construction, implementation, operation and maintenance of a metro line in Pune, India.
The operation was examined under the simplified review procedure.
