Siemens: buys U.S. IoT specialist J2 Innovations
(CercleFinance.com) - Siemens is acquiring J2 Innovations, a Los Angeles-based software framework provider for building automation and the Internet-of-Things (IoT) to strenghthen its digital portfolio, the German conglomerate said on Thursday.
J2 Innovations will be managed as an independent legal entity and will be a fully-owned subsidiary of Siemens Industry, the company said.
The financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.
The transaction is expected to be closed by the end of May.
