Siemens: wins contract for Ahmedabad metro
(CercleFinance.com) - Siemens has won the contract to electrify a metro line that is currently being built in Ahmedabad, India.
The contract is worth 76 million euros.
This line, which is 39.2 kilometres long, will also be equipped with traction control and regulation systems supplied by Siemens.
The contract was awarded to the German conglomerate by the transport operator Metro Link Express for Gandhinagar and Ahmedabad (MEGA).
