Siemens: pair of engineers to head mobility division.

(CercleFinance.com) - Sabrina Soussan, aged 48, and Michael Peter, aged 51, have been appointed to succeed Jochen Eickholt, aged 55, as head of Siemens' mobility division, effective immediately, the German group said on Wednesday.


Siemens' mobility division brings together the giant's businesses in rail and road transportation and for networked mobility in general.

The Munich-based company said that Eickholt has been appointed integration manager for the announced merger of Siemens' and Alstom's mobility businesses, effective the same date.

As a reminder, Siemens and Alstom will be merging their mobility businesses by the end of 2018.

Sabrina Soussan will remain CEO of Siemens' mainline transport und urban transport business units and Michael Peter will also continue to serve as CEO of the mobility management business unit.
