8 MW photovoltaic power plant will be connected to an existing 50 MW wind farm.
According to the agreement with an independent operator, the German industrial group will provide a turnkey solution from start to finish. This project, which is located in the southern state of Karnataka, is expected to be launched towards the end of the year.
With a potential market of around 15 GW in India, our clients are increasingly interested in this type of integrated renewable systems, said Ramesh Kymal, head of Siemens Gamesa's onshore business in India.
