Siemens: to set up digitalization hub with Singapore.
(CercleFinance.com) - Siemens is going to partner with Singapore to establish a hub designed to boost digitalization in the country, the German industrial group said on Tuesday.
The diversified company said the platform will be powered by MindSphere, its cloud-based open Internet of Things operating system.
To mark the launch of the project, three collaboration agreements have been signed with Nanyang Technological University, IT company ST Electronics and SP Group, Singapore's transmission and distribution utility.
Starting with 60 specialists from a variety of disciplines, the hub team is expected to increase to 300 by the year 2022.
