Daimler: 'good prospects' for truck unit in 2018
(CercleFinance.com) - Daimler's truck division has "good prospects" for 2018, the German automotive group said on Wednesday.
After "clear growth" in 2017, the division's unit sales and earnings are also expected to be significantly higher in 2018, the carmaker said.
Daimler's truck division increased its unit sales by 13% to 470,700 vehicles in 2017, while EBIT leapt 22%.
