Daimler: Bernstein maintains 'outperform' rating.
(CercleFinance.com) - Sanford C.
Bernstein maintains an "outperform" rating on Daimler, with a target price of 85 euros after a "truly excellent" set of Q3 results.
The broker - which points out that the German automotive group "continues to grow" - says it increasingly thinks Daimler may be serious about breaking up the group, having separate listings for cars and trucks.
"We may just have to wait a while to learn more," it said.
Bernstein adds that Daimler's stock price still fails to reflect the recent transformation, floundering on "very low multiples," with this discount seeming "unfair" in their opinion.
