Daimler: Bryan Garnier initiates coverage with 'buy' rating.
(CercleFinance.com) - In a report devoted to car makers, Bryan Garnier has initiated its coverage of the Daimler stock with a "buy" rating, along with a fair value of 87 euros.
"Following the rejuvenation of the Mercedes-Benz (MB) brand as of 2012 with the launch of the new A-Class, Mercedes Benz gradually began to recover its leadership position, in favour of profitability," the broker underlined.
Bryan Garnier believes that the group is now ready to tackle BMW and Tesla in electric vehicles, even though this could weigh on the group's growth in margins and free cash flow in the near term. IT hence prefers Daimler to BMW to play the premium automobile segment.
