Merck KGaA: collaboration deal with Metabolon
(CercleFinance.com) - The US life sciences company Metabolon announced on Monday the signing of a multi-year collaboration agreement with the German pharmaceutical group Merck KGaA.
Under the terms of the partnership, Metabolon will conduct metabolic phenotyping studies for Merck to better understand the mechanisms of biomarkers and biochemical pathways used in drug projects under development at the Darmstadt laboratory.
This information will facilitate decision-making and the discovery of new molecules, Metabolon said in its press release.
